Some side effects with
Zolpimist are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. Although generally rare, some of these side effects may actually be fairly common. These include, but are not limited to:
- Chest pain or heart palpitations
- Depression (see Zolpimist and Depression)
- Unusual, uninhibited behavior (sometimes described as drunken behavior)
- Hallucinations
- Bizarre behavior or personality changes, including suicidal thoughts or behaviors
- Getting out of bed while not fully awake (and walking, driving, eating, or doing other things in your sleep)
- Memory loss
- Anxiety
- Signs of an allergic reaction, such as:
- An unexplained rash
- Itching
- Hives
- Swelling of the mouth or throat
- Wheezing
- Difficulty breathing.
Other Possible Zolpimist Side Effects
Some side effects were reported only rarely or were reported in studies that did not use a placebo (making it difficult to know for sure if the potential side effect was truly related to the medication).
