You should not take Sonata if you are allergic to Sonata, zaleplon, or any inactive component used to make Sonata, including FD&C Yellow No. 5 (a dye known as tartrazine). Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the other inactive components used to make Sonata.
There are a number of situations in which Sonata should not be taken, as well as a number of precautions and warnings that people should be aware of before starting the medicine. However, it is possible that not all warnings for Sonata were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your healthcare provider about any Sonata warnings or precautions that may apply to you.
