Restoril Drug Interactions

If certain medications are combined with Restoril, drug interactions can occur. These interactions can increase your risk of side effects, including drowsiness, memory loss, and difficulty breathing. Alcohol, barbiturates, and antidepressants are among the drugs that can interact with Restoril. Prior to starting treatment, talk to your healthcare provider about the specific Restoril drug interactions that may apply to you.

 

An Overview of Restoril Drug Interactions

Restoril® (temazepam) can potentially interact with several other medications. Some of the medicines that may lead to Restoril drug interactions include:
 
  • Alcohol
 
 
 
 
  • Barbiturates, including:
 
    • Amobarbital (Amytal®)
    • Butalbital (Fioricet®, Fiorinal®)
    • Pentobarbital (Nembutal®)
    • Phenobarbital (Luminal®)
    • Secobarbital (Seconal®)
 
  • Narcotics or opiates, such as:

 

    • Morphine
    • Oxycodone (OxyContin®)
    • Hydrocodone (Lortab®, Vicodin®)
 
  • Other benzodiazepines, including:
