Problems With Lunesta

As with many other medications, Lunesta® (eszopiclone) can cause problems. Some of the most common problems with Lunesta include side effects, such as:
 
If side effects do occur, they tend to be minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. However, there are some potentially serious Lunesta problems that require immediate medical attention. Contact your healthcare provider if you experience problems such as:
 
  • Chest pain
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Confusion
  • More outgoing or aggressive behavior than normal
  • Depression
  • Hallucinations (seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not really there)
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, including unexplained rash, itching, hives, wheezing or trouble breathing, or unexplained swelling.
