Alcohol
When alcohol and Lunesta are taken at the same time, Lunesta may increase the effects of the alcohol. It is, therefore, recommended that you do not drink alcohol when taking Lunesta.
 
Certain Antibiotics or Antifungals
Taking Lunesta with certain antibiotics or antifungals can increase the level of Lunesta in the blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
 
Certain Anticonvulsants
Taking Lunesta with certain anticonvulsants can increase the level of Lunesta in the blood, increasing your chance of side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
 
Delavirdine (Rescriptor)
Taking Lunesta with delavirdine can increase the level of Lunesta in your blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
 
Diclofenac (Cataflam, Voltaren)
Taking Lunesta with diclofenac can increase the level of Lunesta in your blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
 
Imatinib (Gleevec)
Taking Lunesta with imatinib can increase the level of Lunesta in the blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
 
Nefazodone (Serzone)
Taking Lunesta with nefazodone can increase the level of Lunesta in the blood, increasing your chance of developing side effects. Talk to your healthcare provider before taking these two medications together.
