Who Should Not Take Halcion?

You should not take Halcion if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Halcion, triazolam, or any of the inactive components used to make Halcion. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients. Also, you should not take Halcion if you are allergic to any other benzodiazepine medication.
     
  • Are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant.
     
  • Are taking ketoconazole (Nizoral®), itraconazole (Sporanox®), or nefazodone (Serzone®).
