Ambien Tablets

Ambien® (zolpidem tartrate) is a sleep medication approved for the treatment of short-term insomnia. It is available by prescription only and comes in the form of tablets. Ambien has been shown to help people fall asleep faster, sleep longer, and have a higher quality of sleep.
 
Ambien tablets are taken once a day, immediately before bedtime. It is important to make sure that you are ready for sleep before taking the drug, as it works quickly. In general, Ambien is used for only one to two days; it should not be used for more than one to two weeks. If you are still having trouble sleeping after one to two weeks, tell your healthcare provider.
