Ambian

Were you looking for information about Ambien? Ambian is a common misspelling of Ambien.

Ambien® is a medicine that is often prescribed for the treatment of short-term insomnia in adults. The sleep medicine, which comes in tablet form and is taken once a day immediately before bedtime, has been proven to be effective in helping people fall asleep faster, sleep longer, and establish a higher quality of sleep.

In general, the drug should be used only for one or two days. Because it works so quickly, it is important that you are ready for sleep before taking it. Potential side effects of Ambien may include difficulties with coordination, daytime drowsiness, and dizziness. Before taking this medication, be sure to let your healthcare provider know if you have any medical conditions, such as sleep apnea, liver failure, or kidney disease.
