Ambien CR in the blood may increase. The effect of this is not known.
Rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane)
Taking rifampin and Ambien CR together may cause your body to metabolize the medicines differently than intended. Your healthcare provider may choose to adjust your dose accordingly.
Flumazenil (Romazicon)
Taking both Ambien CR and flumazenil may cause the sedative effect of Ambien CR to be reversed. If you are taking flumazenil, consult your healthcare provider prior to taking Ambien CR.
